Hello and welcome to Embu Water and Sanitation Company (EWASCO) website, thank you for taking time to stop by. My name is Eng. Felix G. Mutuura, EWASCO’s Managing Director. We commit to remain connected and engaged with you: our customer, partner and stakeholder to provide you with information on our company’s services. This is also a platform through which you can provide feedback to us on our operations.

Our mandate is to provide water and sanitation services within Embu County serving four constituencies namely Manyatta, Runyenjes, Mbeere South and Mbeere North. As a Water Service Provider (WSP), EWASCO operates under a service provision licence and in line with the Water Act, 2016, the company operations fall under the Tana Water Works Development Agency (TWWDA).

Access to affordable water and sanitation services is provided for in Section 43 of the Kenya Constitution (2010). Further, Kenya’s national development agenda recognizes that water and sanitation services are at the core of social economic development. Kenya’s long-term development agenda is set out in the Vision 2030. The aim of Vision 2030 is to make Kenya a globally competitive and prosperous country with a high quality of life by 2030. And this is EWASCO’s commitment - providing Safe, Sustainable Water and Effective Sanitation Services to all our Customers.
